About SAA

Class of 2006

UC Merced's Student Alumni Association (SAA) aims to connect current students to alumni, cultivate a culture of philanthropy, collaborate with the community and prepare each student for his or her future role as alumni.

With nearly 1,400 lifetime members and more than 400 student members each academic year, SAA is the largest student organization on campus. In collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations and the University of California, Merced, Alumni Association (UCMAA), SAA hosts a variety of programs and events that raise awareness about philanthropy and stewardship. SAA also volunteers and partners with the community and to help develop professional skills for future career opportunities.

At UC Merced, the Student Alumni Association believes every student is a future alum.

SAA is open to all Bobcats! The registration process to become a member is simple and only requires a one-time membership contribution of $10. As an SAA lifetime member, you'll have no renewal fees, and your perks and privileges never expire - Bobcats for life! Each contribution supports SAA programming and the SAA Scholarship Fund.
