Alumni Relations Staff

The Office of Alumni Relations is responsible for providing leadership in planning, implementing and managing alumni programs for the UC Merced Alumni Association (UCMAA), Student Alumni Association (SAA) and the San Joaquin Valley UC Alumni Network (SJVUC). Their offices are located on the third floor in the Leo and Dottie Kolligian Library.

The alumni relations specialist advises on the activities, events and programs of the UC Merced Student Alumni Association (SAA) and cultivates a culture of philanthropy on campus while preparing students for their future roles as alumni.

The specialist is responsible for serving as a liaison between students of SAA and alumni of the UCMAA, forming networks and fostering relationships between one another in hopes of professional growth opportunities.

The specialist also represents the interests of alumni and current students at programs and initiatives campuswide.

The intern serves as president of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and assists in planning activities, events and programs that aim to cultivate a culture of philanthropy on campus while preparing students for their future roles as alumni.

The intern is also responsible for assisting in the Office of Alumni Relations with online communications, social media and website maintenance.

In her spare time, Maholi serves on the Student Alumni Relations Committee.

The intern is responsible for serving as finance director of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and assisting in budgeting and accounting for activities, events and programs that aim to cultivate a culture of philanthropy on campus while preparing students for their future roles as alumni.

The intern also assists in the Office of Alumni Relations with online communications, social media and website maintenance.

In his spare time, Bernal serves on the Student Alumni Relations Committee.
